ADHD Coaching
ADHD coaching offers a practical, step by step and encouraging method to help people with ADHD gain insight into how their minds work, develop useful techniques, and make lasting improvements in everyday living. It aims to enhance executive functioning abilities, while also boosting self-confidence, overall wellbeing, and belief in oneself.

🌿 ADHD Traits
ADHD is a neurodevelopmental condition that affects how the brain manages attention, activity levels, and self‑regulation. While everyone with ADHD is unique, many people share three core areas of difference: inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity. These traits can appear differently in children, young people, and adults.
Common Challenges
ADHD is a neurodevelopmental condition that affects attention, impulse control, and activity levels. It can impact children, young people, and adults in different ways, but many people experience challenges across similar areas of daily life. ADHD commonly involves difficulties with inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsiveness, which can influence behaviour, mood, and everyday functioning.

Attention and Focus: Individuals may encounter difficulties with concentration, maintaining attention on tasks, or managing distractions, which can impact performance in academic, occupational, and everyday activities.

Organisation and Planning: Obstacles related to task organisation, time management, retention of details, and completion of assignments are often associated with differences in executive functioning.

Impulsivity: Rapid decision-making without sufficient deliberation, interrupting others during conversations, or challenges with patience may influence interpersonal relationships and outcomes.

Hyperactivity or Restlessness: A persistent sense of being active, frequent fidgeting, or difficulty remaining still—traits commonly observed in children, though adults may experience internal restlessness.

Emotional Regulation: Many individuals report intense emotional responses, experiences of overwhelm, or mood fluctuations, which may affect self-confidence and overall wellbeing.

Daily life impact: ADHD can influence routines, school or work performance, relationships, and self‑esteem. Without support, it may contribute to stress, anxiety, or sleep difficulties.

Social impact: Misreading social cues which can lead to awkward or strained interactions, social rejection & Rejection Sensitivity Dysphoria (RSD), impulsivity or hyperactivity may cause peer difficulties.

🌿Tailored Strategies

ADHD manifests differently for everyone, so a one-size-fits-all approach is rarely effective. In my coaching practice, I work with you to:
-
Identify how your specific ADHD symptoms present in your daily life
-
Develop strategies that leverage your unique strengths
-
Experiment with systems—such as time-blocking or visual reminders—that suit your individual needs, rather than relying on generic advice
Through this tailored approach, you can build sustainable habits that support your personal growth over time.
