Confidentiality Policy

Confidentiality and trust are fundamental to the therapeutic relationship. At the outset of our meetings, I will discuss the principles of confidentiality with you in detail. The content of our sessions will not be disclosed to any third parties without your explicit consent. However, should there be any indication of risk of harm to yourself or to others, I am obliged to share relevant information to ensure the safety of those involved.

Privacy Policy

I handle all personal data in strict accordance with Data Protection legislation and The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Your privacy is of utmost importance, and every effort is made to protect your personal information.

All paper records relating to your therapy will be securely stored for a period of seven years following the date of your final session. Once this retention period has elapsed, your records will be destroyed to maintain confidentiality and comply with legal requirements.

Sharing of Information

Information pertaining to your therapy will only be shared in specific circumstances. If I have concerns regarding your welfare, I may contact your GP or appropriate emergency services to safeguard your wellbeing and ensure your safety is prioritised.
